Are you sick of global warming alarmists telling you that the sky is falling?
All summer Americans for Prosperity is hosting the Global Warming Hot Air Tour. We've been going to cities around the country to highlight the high price of big-government global warming solutions and junk science. Now, on June 18th, the Hot Air Tour makes it's first stop in Florida, touching down right here in Jacksonville!
Governor Crist is hosting a 'climate change conference' on June 25th to talk about anti-capitalist ideas to help our environment so we need to hold an event like this to counter his conference. We simply cannot let bad global warming legislation wreck our economy.
We're going to have a full-size 75ft hot air balloon that activists will be able to take a ride in(weather permitting, of course). Plus, there will be free food, music, press coverage and more. It's going to be a great opportunity for us to educate people about free-market solutions to the environment.
The event, the balloon rides, the food and everything else will be entirely free. We'd LOVE to have you there, it should be a lot of fun. Bring your families, friends and neighbors!
Tentatively the event will be held at Riverside Park in Jacksonville but we're finalizing the permit process as we speak. We're also booking a rain location to use in the event of inclement weather.

Sell the tee shirts to recoup at least the cost thereof. ask for donations at the event to help cover costs. I was impress with the turn out even with the rain and cancellation of the balloon rides ”
